In his February 2015 review of the Social Value Act, Lord Young raised a number of recommendations to improve the take up and impact of the Act. One such recommendation was to improve the stock and access to case studies and best practice examples of where social value had been successfully incorporated into commissioning.
Social Value Commissioning is a resource aiming to do just this. It has a range of case studies and useful documents organised by who is leading the commissioning, and whereabouts in the commissioning cycle you are. The case studies range from creating new jobs schemes to increasing sport participation, and we encourage people to submit their own.
