Social Value UK provide a range of assurance and accreditation services on behalf of Social Value International. All of the following services are available to members of Social Value International:

- The Social Value Management Certificate
Why is assurance important?
Assurance provides confidence in your work, and the judgements you have made. It is also a useful learning tool, to assess how you might be able to improve your social value measurement for next time. Assurance also speaks directly to Principle 7 – Verify the result.

For the Social Value UK (SVUK) Assurance and Accreditation services, there are a number that are managed through application rounds. This covers applications for:
- Report Assurance
- SVI Level 2 Accredited Practitioner and Level 3 Advanced Practitioner status
- Social Value Management Certificate (applications for all 3 levels ‘Commit’, ‘Implement’, ‘Maximise’)
The timelines and process for feedback are outlined in this document. There will be 4 rounds for each service. Report Assurance, Level 2 Accredited Practitioner, and Level 3 Advanced Practitioner applications have separate application rounds.
Fast track applications can be requested by contacting the SVUK Assurance Team directly.
SVI Level 1 Associate Practitioners can submit their applications at any time, with results returned in line with the timelines set out in the relevant Terms & Conditions document.
There are a number of other assurance services that are not managed via application rounds, with applications possible at any time. These are:
- Software Accreditation
- Level 1 Associate Practitioner status*
- Fast track Level 2 Accredited Practitioner status
- Fast track Level 3 Advanced Practitioner status
- Fast track report assurance
- Practitioner Status renewals*
*SVUK only processes Level 1 Associate Practitioner Status applications and Practitioner Status renewals from applicants based in the UK. Non-UK applicants should contact Social Value International for more information.
Assurance and Accreditation Complaints and Appeals:
There may be situations where issues arise with the outcome (results) of your application for accreditation or assurance, or with the process itself, or anything else that you may wish to raise as an appeal or complaint. Social Value International three-step complaints and appeals process to deal with your issue in a thorough and responsive manner. Details of the procedure can be found here.
