We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jacob Hill to the Board of Social Value UK. As the founder of Offploy, a social enterprise focused on mentoring and supporting people with criminal convictions to find meaningful employment, Jacob brings a wealth of expertise and lived experience to our organisation.

Jacob’s appointment to our board is also significant because of the barriers he has faced in the past. As someone with lived experience of the criminal justice system, Jacob knows first-hand the challenges that people with criminal convictions face in finding employment and being accepted into decision-making roles. In his role on our board, Jacob will use his expertise to support other social enterprises to increase their impact and deepen their social value.
