Case Study by AECOM
OVERVIEW
West Belfast was a hotspot during a thirty year-conflict known as The Troubles and remains one of the most deprived constituencies in Northern Ireland. As part of efforts to regenerate the area and connect communities, a new contemporary public park was created with full public engagement. Opened during the coronavirus pandemic, the park has been embraced as a valuable community asset that brings people together.
Social Value UK are working with Envoy Partnership to redevelop the Global Value Exchange (“GVE”), a free-to-use, online database of outcomes, indicators, and valuations. The new GVE will be a valuable resource to social value practitioners, and anyone undertaking a social value or SROI analysis.
We are recruiting an Advisory Group to support with the development of GVE. The Advisory Group will provide input into areas such as developing the GVE functionality, sourcing additional content, and creating guidance for practitioners. We are particularly looking for people who have experience and expertise in managing other social value products, sourcing data in a variety of sectors, ethical use of data, and undertaking a range of social value analyses. The time commitment would be roughly four hours per month.
