Founded by Amentum and Mitie in 2017, the Primary Business Partnership connects local employers with West Cumbrian primary schools to raise aspirations and support career-related learning. The initiative engages circa 9,000 pupils a year with support from over 50 employers, helping to challenge stereotypes and promote social mobility from an early age.
