Some thoughtful words from our Chief Executive Officer, Isabelle Parasram OBE:
On behalf of the Social Value UK community, I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to The Royal Family at the passing of Her Majesty, The Queen.
During her incredible reign, Her Majesty embodied gracious leadership and humble service.
As we join the world in mourning her loss, we also remember Her Majesty’s legacy – a lifetime of public service marked by quiet dignity and strength.
When I think of the work of Social Value UK, this quote taken from a speech made by Her Majesty in 2008 seems most apt:
“When life seems hard, the courageous do not lie down and accept defeat; instead, they are all the more determined to struggle for a better future.”
