We are looking to recruit a Membership Manager to join our growing team. The role will sit within the Social Value UK staff team, primarily within the Marketing Team, but working across the Engagement and Advocacy Teams. Social Value UK is the UK national network for professionals working in social value and social impact, and is the national network in the UK of the global Social Value International movement.
Are you passionate about tackling inequality through changing the way society accounts for value? We are looking for a target driven individual with experience of and a flair for excellent customer service and membership development.
We would like to hear from you if you feel you can:
- Attract new members and support existing members
- Manage and facilitate thematic social value working groups
- Develop and facilitate regional Social Value UK networks
- Manage online and in-person events
We are seeking an organised yet creative individual who can support our members and potential members through organising regular engagement including monthly touch point emails, calls and a diary of networking opportunities including events and online communications. You will be able to develop and maintain an annual calendar of online and in-person meetings, events and webinars for members of Social Value UK. This will include speaker liaison, event administration, setting up video conferencing and other technologies, and event promotion.
The organisations has an office in Liverpool City Centre, but the role can be flexible on location and remote or hybrid working. You may be required to undertake national and international travel, and the role is likely to include travel to and from London.
This is a permanent position – the successful applicant will be required to work 35 hours per week.
